How Religion And Dating Can Suceed
March 3, 2010 by Linda Cole · Leave a Comment
Religion was at the forefront of many group meetings years a go and the town church would be not able a place of worship but a place where the community got together with their families. Most marriages were often a product of the young people who shared the same religious beliefs and found this a solid foundation for a successful union. As times began to change the church has still held its place in many communities and even today many young people who share the same faith still prefer to date within their own congregation.
Even though the western world has welcomed modernisation in some churches, there are some religions that have never altered in their quest to remain exactly as they have been for centuries. The elders still insist their youth marry into their own religion even though there have been some attempts to modernise. The advantage of couples being formed based on their faith is that essential views of morality and principle are firmly in place and form a rock solid foundation for romantic love to build on. Such things can become an issue so quickly in relationships built only on the laws of physical attraction. Perhaps having a shared religion makes for a healthy start.
Dating someone from another religious background could turn out to be a very interesting experience. In days gone by families would have probably expressed their disapproval at this kind of union but today in western culture there is a more relaxed attitude. This probably would not apply to some of the more strict religions where the old ways are still very much in place even though the youth of today may be trying to modernise. Many marriages are a combination of different beliefs and are very successful which leads me to the common denominator in all of this
Love… it can take your breath away…. It can make saints out of sinners., laughter out of pain and a belief that God in his infinite wisdom has sent down an angel to walk by your side….forever. The story of Romeo and Juliet is etched in our history and hearts as a reminder that love can break your heart and lead you to even die for it. Romantic love, it is what we all dream of and pray for .it is the essence of God himself.
Even if you are deeply religious there is plenty of opportunity and places where you can meet Even though times have changed and a lot of the churches have modernised so as not to alienate the youth of today, the very foundation of faith will make that first date more relaxed than those couples with no common ground to work from.

Keep The Conversation Going

Online dating presents us with the golden opportunity to chat to others before meeting in real life which is an ideal way to meet as opposed to physically meeting as complete strangers and allows us to gauge compatibility based on more than just chemistry.
Online dating sites can make us think we’re safe in assuming that once we go on the first ‘real’ date, conversation will flow – but not always.
Acting shy on a first date is one of the hurdles we need to overcome to have first date success. Chatting online gives us a huge advantage for you to be able to prepare your offline conversation by taking notes based on your online chats.
Conventionally, many first dates take place at a coffee shop, but next time you arrange a date, think outside the square a little. Try a more casual and engaging environment like ten pin bowling or putt putt golf. Go for a bush walk perhaps and stop for lunch in the National Park, try something more interesting than the standard first date coffee shop.

If you are the kind of person who is a little shy, be sure to select an environment where you can easily talk about the surroundings and atmosphere.
The art of conversing is a two-way street. If you see your date has stalled in the chatting game, then it’s time to take over the driving. Ask them questions about themselves and be interested in the answers. Use what you already know about them from when you first met in the singles chat room.
We suggest to always be yourself on a first date. The more relaxed you are the more approachable you become. And simply because you run out of things to chat about, doesn’t mean the date is a dud. Let things move on a bit, take the lead and suggest going for a walk, or maybe a drive; just change the scenery somehow to re-energize the conversation with a new environment.
It’s always wise to restrain yourself from being too opinionated about touchy subjects such as religion or race issues. Show your date your easy going and open minded self before you blast them with your pent up views about what’s wrong with the world.
Be sure not to hog the conversation. A good way to further help achieve this is to make it easy on your date to participate in the conversation by asking more questions about the topic you are already engaged in. Avoid straight out yes – no answers at all cost. Remember if your date goes to yes or no ask them why. Why do you think that, or why did you say that, I’m curious.
Bonny Albo, a writer who has focused on online dating matters, sums up the art of conversation with these words: “Concentrate on adopting your own experiences and interweaving them in with the other individuals answers. By doing so you will be formulating a connection with the individual, producing hooks of information with which to initiate a conversation at a future moment.

First Date Tips for Men: Guarantee You a Second One
December 20, 2009 by Janine Hanson · Leave a Comment
First date guidelines are possibly the most vital ones you will ever get. Besides, if the first date is not enjoyable and impressive, you are very unlikely to get a second chance. Doing great on your very first date can make all the difference between moving on to a long term relationship or making a woman not return your calls.
These are the things you should keep in mind to have a successful first date:
Pointer #1: Location to a good first date…
Same with real estate business, good location is very crucial for the very first date. . Just stop the idea of having a “watching a movie in a theater” date! You really won’t get a chance to know her and impress her if you do this. Sitting next to her for almost 2 hours in silence and just staring at the screen won’t help you at all.
Choose a place where you can really talk and make a good conversation. Do not go to a club where the music is so freaking loud that you need to shout for her to hear you won’t help. Dining in a restaurant or bistro after a pleasant walk is a great idea for your first date. The movement allows you both to calm down and then you have chance to have a comfortable conversation. .
Step No.2: Pick a time that is not stressful

On your very first date with a woman you are really interested in, a daytime date is less stressful. Lunch or having coffee is more comfortable than a dinner, and it really gives you other options. If it really goes well, you can extend your day. But if things are not going well, you can free yourself after an hour or two and your evening is still free.
Tip No.3: Make a Backup Plan
The first dating mistake men usually make is not having a backup plan if the date is not working out well. They always think that they do not really need it. But you should always be prepared and make a good back-up plan; if what you are doing is not feeliung comfortable suggest something else, change the venue, go for a walk, go window shopping, something that is fun and not stressful. Having a back-up plan is a plus factor on your first date, to really give the date a chance.
Tip No.4: Say what you really think
During your conversation on your very first date, it is not advisable to get into really controversial issues. She might get upset if you ask her these things. And while you are planning for your first date, you should let her know what type of clothing will be suitable for your date. Let her know what about your plans, where the place is and what you will be wearing. She should wear something comfortable and not be overly dressed.
